Use of (This) Negative

अंग्रेजी भाषा में This का अर्थ होता है – यह. इसी प्रकार That का अर्थ होता है – वह. स्पष्ट है कि इन दोनों शब्दों का प्रयोग एकवचन कर्ता के रूप में होता है.

ये दोनों ही Demonstrative Pronouns (संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम)/ Demonstrative 

Adjectives (संकेतवाचक विशेषण) हैं.

इन दोनों के साथ एकवचन संज्ञा (singular noun) तथा एकवचन क्रिया (singular verb) का प्रयोग होता है.

1. This is not a table. (यह एक मेज़ नहीं है।)
2. This is not a pen. (यह एक पैन नहीं है।)
3. This is not a book. (यह एक किताब नहीं है।)
4. This is not a copy. (यह एक कॉपी नहीं है।)
5. This is not a bag. (यह एक बैग नहीं है।)
6. This is not a ball. यह एक गेंद नहीं है।)
7. This is not a wood. (यह एक लकड़ी नहीं है।)
8. This is not a tree. (यह एक पेड़ नहीं है।)
9. This is not a forest. (यह एक जंगल नहीं है।)
10. This is not a coolar. (यह एक कूलर नहीं है।)
11. This is not a cloth. यह एक कपड़ा नहीं है।)
12. This is not a rope. (यह एक रस्सी नहीं है।)
13. This is not a bat. (यह एक बल्ला नहीं है।)
