Rule :- W.H.O. + Is/Am/Are + Sub + Noun/Adjective/Pronoun

Example :- 

1. Where is the fan. (पंखा कहाँ है। )
2. Where is the coolar. ( कूलर कहाँ है।)
3. Where is the car. ( कार कहाँ है।)
4. How is this book. ( यह कैसी किताब।)
5. How is this cloth. (यह कैसे कपड़े है।)
6. How is this chair. (यह कैसी कुर्सी है।)
7. Where is a table. ( एक मेज कहाँ है।)
8. Where is that sleeper. (वह चप्पल कहाँ है।)
9. Where is parents of Ram.                                 ( राम के माता-पिता कहाँ हैं।)

Use of Is/Am/Are Negative

अंग्रेजी भाषा में is/ am/ are का प्रयोग सबसे आसान वाक्य बनाने में किया जाता है. इन तीनों का प्रयोग वर्तमान काल में simple sentences बनाने में किया जाता है. इनका प्रयोग आसान भी है और उपयोगी भी. आइए इस प्रकार के वाक्यों का अभ्यास करें

Rule :- Subject + Is/Am/Are + Not + Noun/Adjective/Pronoun

Memorable Points :

(i). Am का प्रयोग I के साथ किया जाता है. जबकि is का प्रयोग singular subjects जैसेs & he, she, Ram, Sita, this, that आदि के साथ तथा are का प्रयोग plural subjects जैसेs & we, you, they, these, those आदि के साथ होता है.

(ii). I’m I am का संक्षिप्त रूप है जो कि बोलचाल में काफ़ी प्रचलित है. I’m के  समान ही अन्य संक्षिप्त रूपों का भी अभ्यास करें जैसे That is का संक्षिप्त रूप That’s] She is का संक्षिप्त रूप She’s] He is का संक्षिप्त रूप he’s] We are का संक्षिप्त रूप we’re] They are का संक्षिप्त रूप They’re तथा You are  का संक्षिप्त रूप you’re है.

(iii) Negative sentences बनाने के लिए is/are/am के बाद ‘not’ का प्रयोग किया जाता है.

(iv). Interrogative sentences बनाने के लिए is/are/am को वाक्य के शुरू में लगाया जाता है.

Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

1. This is not fan. ( यह पंखा नही है।)
2. This is not Coolar. (यह कूलर नहीं है।)
3. This is not car. (यह कार नहीं है।)
4. This is not cycle. (यह साइकिल नहीं है।)
5. This is not book. (यह किताब नही है।)
6. This is not clothes. (यह कपड़े नहीं हैं।)
7. This is not chair. (यह कुर्सी नहीं है।)
8. This is not tabke. (यह मेज नहीं है।)
9. Thus is not sleeper. (यह चप्पल नहीं है।)
10. This is not home. (यह घर नहीं है।)
11.  I am not engineer. (मैं इंजीनियर नहीं हूँ।)
12. I am not good man.(मैं अच्छा आदमी नहीं हूँ।)
13. I am not teacher. (मैं अध्यापक नहीं हूँ।)
14. I am not student. (मैं छात्र नहीं हूँ।)
15. I am not jobless. (मैं सड़क छाप नही हूँ।)
16. I am not illiterate. (मैं अनपढ़ नहीं हूँ।)
17. I am not artist. (मैं आर्टिस्ट नहीं हूँ।)
18.  I am not manager. (मैं मैनेजर नहीं हूँ।)
19. I am not busy. (मैं व्यस्त नहीं हूँ।)
20. I am not fool. (मैं बेवकूफ नहीं हूँ।)
21. You are not mad. (तुम पागल नहीं हो।)
22. You are not brilliant. (तुम होशियार नहीं हो।)
23. You are not clever. (तुम चालाक नहीं हो।)
24. You are not in Jaipur.  (तुम जयपुर नहीं हो।)
25. You are not manager. (तुम मैनेजर नहीं हो।)
26. You are not illiterate. (तुम अनपढ़ नहीं हो।)
27. You are not imitater.  (तुम नकलची नहीं हो।)
28. You are not advocate. (तुम वकील नहीं हो)
29. You are not coward. (तुम कायर नहीं हो)
30. We are not mad. (हम पागल नहीं हैं।)
31. We are not powerful. (हम ताकतवर नहीं हैं।)
32. We are not with. (हम साथ नहीं हैं।)
33. We are not businessman. (हम ब्यापारी नही हैं।)
34. We are not engineer.  (हम इंजीनियर नहीं हैं।)
35. We are not drinker. (हम शराबी नहीं हैं।)
36. We are not here. (हम यहाँ नहीं हैं।)
37. We are not there. (हम वहां नहीं हैं।)
38. We are not good. (हम अच्छे नहीं हैं।)

Use of Is/Am/Are

Use of Is/Am/Are Affirmative Sentence 

अंग्रेजी भाषा में is/ am/ are का प्रयोग सबसे आसान वाक्य बनाने में किया जाता है. इन तीनों का प्रयोग वर्तमान काल में simple sentences बनाने में किया जाता है. इनका प्रयोग आसान भी है और उपयोगी भी. आइए इस प्रकार के वाक्यों का अभ्यास करें :

7. Reena is her friend. (रीना उसकी सहेली है।)
8. He is a brilliant. (वह होशियार है)
9. This is a food. ( वह भोजन है)
10. That is clean clothes. (वह साफ कपड़े हैं।)
11. This kite is him. (यह पतंग उसकी है।)
